About Acapulco

Acapulco is always Acapulco..!!

Five hundred years ago, this beautiful and legendary port was the favorite of the pirates looking for the fine merchandise travelling on the Nao de China. Nowadays, it has all you can dream of for the finest vacations: a perfect climate all year round, beautiful scenery with two bays, lagoons, mountains and gorgeous sunsets competing to catch your attention, as well as almost six miles of warm water beaches, ideal for all watersports. Acapulco also has one the best tourist infrastructures in the world: restaurants and amusement parks, shops and boutiques, endless nightlife spots, and the ultimate technology for all kinds of events, whether commercial, business or artistic.

Acapulco has  attractions for children and adults alike, all kinds of attractions at almost any time, day or night.... You can enjoy parks such as the International Children Cohabitation Center CICI or the traditional Quebrada divers. As for nightlife, there is nothing to add, it is known worldwide that Acapulco never sleeps! Acapulco nights are full of excitement and great fun, with many discos and bars.

Other attractions include the amazing town of Taxco, and Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, with its beautiful scenery. Both places are so close you should not miss them. Acapulco has an incredible climate all year long, you decide when you come, we at La Palapa, will be waiting for you.

CICI

At CICI, the young and young at heart can go from a slide to an artificial waves pool, and try the experience of swimming with dolphins.

La Quebrada

Watching the divers at La Quebrada is a unique experience. It is a natural scenery formed by 40 meters high cliffs, where expert divers dive into a

Taxco

Taxco is located in the state of Guerrero, two and a half hours from Mexico and Acapulco. Taxco is alive both day and night. Its charming colonial architecture is very attractive. The best way to discover  Taxco is strolling along its paved street to browse its numerous jewelry stores. Taxco and silver are so closely related that most people think Taxco produces all of the Mexican silver. Although it is not so, Taxco does have some of Mexico´s most renowned jewelers. The mining activity has decreased over the last century, but Taxco remains the Mexican jewelers´ capital.

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo is located 237 km northeast of Acapulco, Guerrero, on federal Highway 200. Its main attractions are its restaurants, natural scenery and of course its beaches: Madera Beach, La Ropa Beache and Las Gatas Beach. Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo has an international airport, and a wide array of touristic services.
